The West Bridgford operatic society

Auditions for West Bridgford Operatic Society's production of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Patience" will be held at Muster's Road Methodist Church, Muster's Road, West Bridgford (corner of Muster's and Patrick Road, entrance in Patrick Road) at 7.30pm as follows:
Principals: Tuesday 14 June
Chorus: i.e. potential new members; plus existing members who have to re-audition (this year it is altos and basses) - Tuesday 28 June.
Anyone who does a singing audition for a principal part need not also do a chorus one.
Please bring a completed application form (draft attached) and your subscription for the 2011/12 season (£60) to the audition.
 
The show will be presented at Nottingham Arts Theatre, George Street, Nottingham each night at 7.30 from Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 January 2012 plus Saturday Matinee at 2.00pm. Main rehearsals are held each Wednesday, commencing 7 September. Additionally, principals rehearse on Tuesdays, and in January there are usually rehearsals for all on Sunday afternoons.

Details of musical audition pieces are attached. As you will see, our MD Piotr Wisniewski would like them sung from memory.
Our Director, Linda Croston, has provided all the dialogue needed for the auditions (also attached). She may not use all of it for each character and she does not want it learned by heart.
 
Please print off what you need but if you require a paper copy of anything please ask, as soon as possible.
